SHAKIRA RELEASES “SOLTERA”
GRAMMY, and Latin GRAMMY Award-winning artist Shakira released “Soltera,” an infectious afrobeats female anthem.
The song has already gained buzz online following the filming of the video at LIV in Miami with cameos from Winnie Harlow, Anitta, Danna and Lele Pons. The video will be released soon.
The new song comes on the heels of Shakira’s 3 Latin GRAMMY nominations last week, for Album of the Year for Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran, Song of the Year for “Entre Paréntesis,” and Best Latin Electronic Music Performance for “Bzrp Music Sessions, Vol. 53 (Tiësto Remix).”
In November, Shakira will hit the road for her sold-out North American “Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran World Tour,” promoted by Live Nation. The tour’s first leg will start on November 2 in Palm Desert, CA, and includes stops in Los Angeles, Miami, Toronto, Brooklyn, Chicago and more. Known for her dynamic and high-energy performances, Shakira will bring tracks from her new album and her legendary catalog of hits to life on stage.
Her latest album, Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran, received rave reviews, debuting at #1 on Billboard’s Latin Album and Latin Pop Album Charts and was certified 7x platinum in the first 24 hours of its release, with over 10 billion streams across all audio and video platforms, making it the most streamed album of the year. This body of work is a dazzling testament to her resilience and strength, as well as music’s power to transform even the most trying experiences into precious moments.
